The Human Relations Commission of Huntsville, Alabama

The Human Relations Commission was created in 1994 by Mayor Steve Hettinger and the City Council.  The HRC is an advisory group whose primary focus is to promote understanding and harmony among the citizens of Huntsville.  Its purpose is to help the city be a community of racial acceptance and equal opportunity.
